Butch Walker and the Black Widows - I liked you better when you had a heart.Butch Walker and the Black Widows-”I Liked It Better When You Had No Heart.”-Release:February 23 2010 Label: One Haven

Lets hear it for catchy good tunes! Not your run of the mill songs but if you like “non run of the mill” tracks that grow on you and call you back after a date Butch Walker and the Black Widows” is the new release for you. It may take a few listens but these well written productions deserve them and will pay you back on your investmentĀ  of time. The CD as a whole jumps around the spectrum in styles a bit but is kept together by a common Butch Walker trademark style. Butch Walker veteran producer/musician singer/songwriter shows us he has a good number of these well executed songs in reserve and shares 11 with us on this seventh CD release “I Liked It Better When You Had No Heart.”. You can pick this release up on 180g Vinyl too which is always nice to see (Long Live 12″ Albums). The album, co-written by Walker and his songwriting partner Michael Trent is something good in a world of “eh”. A long time songwriter and producer for artists ranging from Fall Out Boy to Weezer to Pink to Dashboard Confessional his own music should feel right at home with you. Try it out you’ll like it.
